Christmas Card Workshop
A fun event with all the sparkles! Materials are provided but please bring any paints, pens, ribbons, glitter, buttons or papers that you may wish to use!
Sitting high on a hill surrounded by vineyards, Quarante has a medieval centre with narrow cobbled streets and an impressive church. It has all the charm a French village should have – plus a boulangerie, village shop, a couple of cafés and of course, a winery. There is an excellent restaurant within walking distance, plus a post office, several grocery shops, and a pharmacy in the village centre.
Located not far from the Canal du Midi, the village benefits Monday to Saturday from a direct bus service through to Béziers, where you can get a train, or an plane, to travel further afield.

Learn to sketch a local vineyard with watercolour, even if you have never sketched before! (Quarante)
Join me for a wander through the pretty medieval village of Quarante to capture the essence of daily French life in your sketchbook.
Urban Sketchers meet-ups are a great chance for sketchers and painters to draw together (you will need your own sketch kit). No tuition, just sketching for the fun of it!
